Today both grade 9 classes had a single lesson to set themselves up technologically.
Day 1
Please Note: All students are new to blogging. Some had no idea what a blog is for. In the first instance, 9c was allowed to make any simple comment they chose to introduce themselves.
For 9c's blog, the commenting process demonstrated to most how more than one conversation can be followed through the string of comments posted.
Clearly, the comments were made 20 minutes before lunchtime :-)
For 9b, Googledocs, particularly Google Spreadsheets, were used, last week, to share their trial Glogs. Gizmo gives students multiple choice questions to answers, the results of which I will be able to view in real time (I think).
